“ Visited Kebaya Story for a family dinner and had a lovely experience. The ambiance is quiet and peaceful, tucked right beside Somerset Hotel Miri.perfect for a relaxed meal. While the dinner menu for rice dishes (叫菜吃饭) isn’t extensive, there’s a decent variety of single-dish options to choose from. The highlight of the night was definitely the beef noodle！totally exceeded expectations! The noodles were fantastic, the beef was incredibly tender and practically melted in the mouth, and the broth was light yet refreshing. We also tried the porridge, which stayed warm from the first bite to the lastcomforting and delicious. The laksa had a nice spicy kick, and the lychee chicken was sweet and full of flavor. The butter milk prawns with mantou were a hit toothe buttery sauce had a slight spiciness that made it extra tasty. Don’t miss the chicken satay either! We’ll definitely be coming back for more! ”

“ We went early, coz we the last time we went, it was fully booked. Overall its not bad, cozy place to have your breakfast... and was attracted to visit the place due to the nonya kueh... Can't have the cendol as the colouring was just too strong.. no one makes original cendol anymore And please can you serve bigger cups for coffee and teas... sigh... ”

“ Kebaya Story We’ve dined at this restaurant a few times and each visit has been a pleasant experience. It has a warm, welcoming vibe with both air-conditioned indoor seating and a breezy outdoor area. The food is consistently delicious and satisfying. If you’d like to sit inside with air-conditioning, it’s best to book ahead as the restaurant gets busy and walk-ins might have to wait. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during peak hours. You might need to park a little further and walk over. For those with mobility issues, do note that there’s a short staircase at the entrance and a few descending steps inside. Apart from that, everything else was great. ”

For our first visit, we called an hour ahead to make a reservation, anticipating a Friday night crowd. Surprisingly, the restaurant was only half full when we arrived, and the waiter even let us choose a better table tucked away in a quieter corner—something we really appreciated. The food was delicious across the board, but the highlight for me was the chocolate butter toast. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever tasted a better one—absolutely unforgettable.
